Individual Donations

You may make an individual donation here:

Corporate Donations

Corporate businesses can donate products or money to B.R.A.K.E.S., our driver training and/or our special events.

In-Kind Donations

B.R.A.K.E.S. accepts In-Kind Donations. Examples include: items for our silent and live auctions, goodie bag items, supplies for the driver training, cars, crew shirts etc.

Memorial Donation

B.R.A.K.E.S. accepts donations in memory of or in honor of an individual.

Matching Donation

Several employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. Be sure to check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program.

Gifting Stock

Gifting stock is a simple and powerful way to support B.R.A.K.E.S. It also offers you a number of financial benefits:

You can easily donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual funds
The total value of the stock upon transfer is tax-deductible
There is no obligation to pay any capital gains taxes on the appreciation

Step 1: Complete Your Transfer Contact the institution where your stocks are held and let them know you would like to transfer the shares to the Put on The Brakes, Inc. dba: B.R.A.K.E.S. You will need the following information:

Step 2: Let Us Know Stock donations transferred to our account are not accompanied by donor information. We want to be sure we can acknowledge your gift and send you a tax receipt, so please send us a notification of your gift. Submit this gift information by using the Stock Gift Notification form below:

Carla Wallace Memorial Fund

The Carla Wallace Memorial Fund was established in honor of Carla Rene Adams Wallace, a passionate supporter of the B.R.A.K.E.S. lifesaving teen driver training program and a lifelong friend of the B.R.A.K.E.S. organization. The Carla Wallace Memorial Fund supports B.R.A.K.E.S. training for teens in need, such as those living in foster care and in underserved and underprivileged communities.To contribute to the Carla Wallace Memorial Fund, simply add "In memory of Carla Wallace" to the comments of your donation.
